Lola Kingsley (b.1999) is a film photographer and visual artist from Montreal whose work explores the transformations that occur within subjects, places, and spaces. Guided by a philosophy of consistent minimalism, she captures the subtle movements—physical, emotional, and atmospheric—that signal shifts in form and state. Her photographs hold moments where presence transforms and identities evolve, revealing transformation not as a single event, but as a continual state of becoming. Through this lens, she invites viewers into a personal dialogue with her subjects in a fluid interplay between stillness and motion, intimacy and distance, permanence and change.
